Letter from the CEO; YEAH is dedicated to filling a very important gap, educating young Austarlians about HIV & AIDS. There is no excuse to not do all we can to ensure that young Aussie's have access to simple, clear and effective infomration about HIV & AIDS: a problem that is one of the greatest social and global healt challenges of our times. And a problem that is rising in our own back yard. Education is a prerequisite for HIV & STI prevention We are very pround to say that YEAH reaches over 6000 people per month through its web site, and connects with thousands of young Australians through its outreach work in the community... in 2009 we will begin growing a national network of young people trained and empowered to become an 'Agent of YEAH' in their local community. As volunteers at YEAH we all love our work,; we help thousands of Australians, especially young Australians gain the knowledge and life skills thy need to protect themselves and others from HIV and STI's both here when they tracvle over seas. YEAH's raises all of it money from changeing a samll fee for its education resources and workshops, but we need your help too. Our programs are affordable, and as a voluntary organisation we can assure you the 100% of all money we raise goeas staright to reach young Aussies though our youth programs. Supporting YEAH provides an opportunity to invest in prevention, which is a smart investment for the future. Alischa Ross As of March 2005 Y.E.A.H. celebrated its endorsement as a Deductible Gift Recipient and Charity status enabling the organisation to set up and manage a gift fund where all donations over $2.00 are tax deducible.
